Marata is an international real estate property developer and licensed Realtor with 15 years of experience in the luxury asset industry, Marata was born in Burkina Faso, and currently resides in the UAE with her husband, Blaise Carroz, and their children.

After obtaining her MBA, Marata began her international career in the telecom business in Switzerland for Sunrise Telecom. Since 2003, she has worked in partnership with her husband on all international company projects, to include multiple projects in Switzerland, as well as Latvia, Dubai and the Caribbean. In addition, Marata is also developing her own project: Tena Towers, which is set to be the very first upscale gated community in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. This master-planned community will consist of a five-star hotel, 300 hundred luxury homes, a conference center and a retail district. Marata possesses a vast network of valuable resources and contacts across the Middle East and Africa. Her expertise and relationships will be critical as Idoneus continues to grow its network and asset portfolio within these regions.
