To get started and completely set up with Idoneus requires you to go through a few steps. Please see the steps described in a summarized version below. Each step contains links to detailed tutorials and other relevant Support Hub articles.

STEP 1: CREATE ACCOUNT
You need to create a primary account on the Idoneus Platform and go through the various onboarding steps.Steps:
- Go to: https://platform.idoneus.io/signup.
- Enter email address and set a password.
- Personal Account: use personal email address.
- Corporate Account: use corporate email of authorized representative.
- Confirm account via email.
Common Issues:
- If you haven’t received the confirmation email, please check your SPAM folder.

STEP 1: ONBOARDING FORM
You need to create a primary account on the Idoneus Platform and go through the various onboarding steps.
Steps:
- Go to: https://idoneus.io/client-onboarding/.
- Enter the requested information and attached the requested documents.

STEP 2: ONBOARDING & KYC
After you have created your login, you have to go through the Swiss-mandated KYC protocol.
Steps:
- You will be automatically redirected after you have confirmed your email at STEP 1. Or go to https://platform.idoneus.io/kyc.
- Submit Identity Information
- Onboarding Chatbot
- Video Identification
- Upload additional documents (if relevant)
Important:
- Please make sure to upload a copy of your passport and a utility bill that is not older than 3 months.

STEP 2: KYC / AML PROCEDURE
After you have submitted the onbboarding form, you will receive email notifications to go through the Swiss-mandated KYC protocol.

STEP 3: SET UP AND CONNECT A WALLET
In order to receive and send IDON, you will need to set up a cryptocurrency wallet. You can select from a multitude of commercially available wallets such as Ledger, MetaMask, Trust, MyEtherWallet, etc.
It is highly recommended to invest some time familiarizing yourself with the different wallet options and related security aspects. See here.

STEP 4: BUY A SMALL AMOUNT OF ETH
Because IDON is a token on the Ethereum Blockchain, you will be required to pay a small amount of “gas fees” in Ether (ETH) for each transaction. You will have to have a (small) balance of ETH on the same wallet address.

STEP 5: SEND / RECEIVE IDON
Now you are all set to receive & send IDON and utilize them for purchases and rentals from the Idoneus Portfolios.
Common Issues:
- If you do not see IDON listed as a token in your Wallet, you may have to add it as a custom token.
- If your ETH balance is too low (or you have none), you will not be able to send any IDON.

STEP 6: BUY OR RENT ASSETS FROM IDONEUS
After successful completion of all the steps above, you are now ready to buy, rent or otherwise experience luxury assets, goods and services that are available on the Idoneus Portfolios, as well as others that accept IDON as a method of payment.
